Sugar Ray Singer Confirms Kid Rock Lyrics Were True: Did Kid Rock Really “Get More Ass” Than Mark McGrath?

  • by

The lead singer of Sugar Ray has confirmed that Kid Rock was telling the truth in his lyrics about getting more attention from women than Mark McGrath.

The words were written by Rock for his song "Cocky" in 2001, which was part of an album with the same title. In one part of the song, he sings about his identity and success, comparing himself to other musicians.

How was a question that had been around for over twenty years finally resolved? It all began when Rock Feed posted on social media asking, "Did Kid Rock really have more success with women than Mark McGrath?"

Shortly after this, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument. McKenty also mentioned McGrath by tagging him in the post.

McGrath responded quickly and jokingly to the question with good humor. The singer confirmed that the mentioned person did indeed rhyme "ass" with McGrath, earning extra points. This response was shared through X, which was formerly known as Twitter.
