The lead singer of Sugar Ray has confirmed that Kid Rock's lyrics about getting more attention from women than Mark McGrath were accurate.
The lyrics were taken from Kid Rock's song "Cocky" released in 2001 on the album with the same title. In these lyrics, Kid Rock asserts his identity and success by comparing himself to other musicians.
How did they finally find an answer to this question that has been around for over twenty years? It all began when Rock Feed posted on social media asking, "Did Kid Rock really have more romantic encounters than Mark McGrath?"
Shortly after that, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to end the argument, and he also mentioned the Sugar Ray vocalist in his post.
McGrath responded to the question with a sense of humor and confirmed that he did indeed rhyme "ass" with his name. The singer addressed the confusion through a social media platform called X (previously known as Twitter).
