The Glitch Pad public beta is currently accessible for download in both VST2 and VST3 formats. It is compatible with 64-bit Windows operating systems.
NUSofting usually releases their plugins for both Windows and Mac operating systems, so Mac users can expect to have access to the software when it is officially released as version 1.0.
The history of the plugin can be traced back to the Glitch Pad SynC Modular patch, which was released in 2002.
Luigi, the founder of NUSofting, has recently modified the initial algorithm and created an enhanced oscillator, which has led to the development of a new VST synthesizer.
The latest edition has been programmed in C++ from the ground up and is currently accessible as an early beta release on the developer's official website, as provided in the link below.
The beta version is completely operational and comes with a total of 23 pre-established settings.
Luigi has simplified the process of downloading the plugin by making it a one-click process. Users do not need to log in or provide any personal information to obtain the Zip file.

The synthesizer would be a perfect fit for genres like ambient music, experimental soundtracks, and video game music.
The preset names like echo dream, echo pendulum, foggy voices, slow choir, and washed choir give us an idea of the different styles that are being suggested.
At first glance, the interface for Glitch Pad presents a significant amount of information to process.
In terms of appearance and arrangement, there are some areas where it could be enhanced, but considering it is a free beta version, one can only have limited expectations.
Towards the lower part of the user interface, there is a keyboard and a preset selector. Directly above that, there is a graphical depiction of the waveform.
According to the plugin's interface, users will have a two-month period to take part in the beta testing. The beta testing phase is set to expire by the end of March 2024.
It is uncertain whether the Glitch Pad will be offered as a paid product or released for free after the beta version, as NUSofting has previously released both paid and free products.
NUSofting is offering discounts on some of their synthesizers at the moment. If you enjoy the sound of their products, it could be worth exploring their other releases.
It is currently unknown if the synth will continue to be available for free once the beta period is over.

It is suggested that you indicate in the title that this plugin is solely compatible with Windows. However, it seems that you have already done so. Thank you for that, but unfortunately, the complaints from Apple users in the comment section have now become a popular joke within the BPB community.

Similar to the sense of superiority exhibited by some Windows users, there seems to be a prevalent group of individuals who claim to be indifferent towards the topic of operating systems. However, it is worth mentioning that this group largely consists of Windows users and their presence is equally noticeable in the comments section.

This is an interesting and enjoyable tool. I particularly like the way the pitch envelope functions. However, it would be even better if it included a separate low-frequency oscillator (LFO) for each destination, as well as a wider variety of shapes, including some eccentric ones for more unpredictable results. It's possible that these suggestions are already being considered since it's still in beta, but just in case they're not, I thought I'd mention it with a smile.

That's great! However, I have a complaint. I really miss the functionality of Rewire. I believe that if Rewire still existed, these "intro DAWs" would be much more useful because they could easily work alongside the DAWs we already use. It's crazy to think that as technology advances, such a useful feature is no longer available and hasn't been properly replaced yet. Sure, there are alternatives like Ableton Link or a Bluetooth plugin, but Rewire allowed for seamless transmission and reception of MIDI and audio directly from the DAW without any issues or latency, while keeping everything in sync.
