Take advantage of a massive discount of 95% on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle. For a limited time, you can also get an impressive 80% off on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 virtual instrument offered by Audio Plugin Deals.
Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular allow users to simulate the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.
When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.
You can enhance your collection of virtual modular synths by getting the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off on Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.
I really love the way VCV Rack works and I often use it on both Mac and Windows. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis quite fascinating.
The preset sounds are impressive, although they mainly cater to trance music and its associated subgenres.
If you are searching for deep and impactful bass sounds, harsh and intense lead synths, and rich and atmospheric pads, it can easily produce those.
The Synth Modular 2 may take some time to understand its signal flow. However, once you have mastered programming a sound from scratch using its modular components, there are endless possibilities.
I really appreciate the possibilities offered by sequencer modules. Unlike the limitations of analog modeled knobs found in Serge or typical sequencers, these modules offer a more visually dynamic experience.
The user interface is easily understandable and visually appealing. It adjusts smoothly to fit different screen sizes, making it particularly advantageous for users with higher resolutions. I personally tried using Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was impressed by its excellent performance and adaptability.
I really hope that the ability to resize the window was available without any restrictions, but I'll save that complaint for later. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile purchase.
Synth Modular 2 functions smoothly on Windows computers. Nevertheless, while experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I experienced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.
However, there is an abundance of things to discover within this offering. With access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, you have the opportunity to experiment with extraordinary combinations, provided that you are willing to invest the necessary time. It is advisable to acquire it promptly, as this sale will not be available for long.
Take a look at the offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently available at a huge discount of 80% until February 5th, priced at only $39.99

An incredibly fascinating and engaging plugin
However, the identical offer was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.
I'm curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high considering the frequent sales they are offering.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. I think the price set for it is too expensive considering that it is often available at a discounted price of $40.
I would like to caution anyone planning to purchase this product that it only includes either a MacOS or a Windows version. You cannot have both. If you initially buy it for Mac and later decide to switch to Windows, you will not be able to deactivate it and use it on the new operating system. This is a single OS license, which in my opinion, is quite impractical for someone like me who works on multiple platforms.
I made the purchase two years back. The sound quality and versatility are satisfactory, but it didn't impress me greatly. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths. It would be great to have some different skins for it. The usability is a bit awkward. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall it is fairly average in my opinion.
