Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle is currently on sale for a massive 95% off. For a limited time, you can also get an 80% discount on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2, a virtual instrument, through Audio Plugin Deals.
Modular synthesis offers a notable advantage in terms of liberty and adaptability. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular enable users to replicate the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.
When it comes to Reaktor, you have the opportunity to directly engage in visually programming digital signal processing (DSP). On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar approach but has its unique design philosophy.
If you're looking to enhance your collection of virtual modular synthesizers, you can now get the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off from Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.
I really love the way VCV Rack works and I often use it on both Mac and Windows. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis quite fascinating.
The pre-set sounds are really good, although they are mostly focused on trance music and its related subgenres.
If you are searching for deep and powerful bass sounds, sharp and intense lead sounds, and rich and atmospheric cinematic pads, it can easily produce those.
The Synth Modular 2 may take some time to understand how its signal flow works. However, once you become familiar with programming sounds from scratch using its modular components, there are endless possibilities for creativity.
I have a strong preference for the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Instead of being limited to the analog modeled knobs found in a Serge or a typical sequencer, these modules provide a more visually appealing experience.
The user interface is user-friendly and easily understandable. It adjusts smoothly to fit your screen, particularly advantageous if you have a higher resolution display. I personally tried out Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was impressed by its seamless performance.
I hope that the ability to resize the window would be available without any restrictions, although that is a complaint that can be discussed another time. Nevertheless, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is worth buying.
Synth Modular 2 works smoothly on Windows computers. However, when experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it automatically switched to running on Rosetta.
However, there are numerous opportunities for exploration available. By having access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, you have the ability to generate unique and extraordinary combinations if you are willing to invest the necessary time. It is advisable to acquire it promptly as this sale will not be available for much longer.
Take a look at this amazing offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale for 80% off until February 5th, priced at only $39.99.

An extremely fascinating plugin.
However, the identical promotion was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.
I am curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high considering the numerous sales they are currently offering.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, the original price set for the product was too high, especially considering the fact that it often goes on
I want to alert everyone who plans to purchase this product that you will only receive either a MacOS or a Windows version, not both. Therefore, if you initially buy it for Mac and later decide to deactivate it and switch to using it on Windows, it won't be possible. This software is licensed for use on only one operating system, which I personally find to be a foolish restriction, especially since I work on multiple platforms.
I made the purchase two years back. The sound quality and flexibility are satisfactory, though not exceptionally impressive. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths. It would be great to have some different skins for it. The user-friendliness is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall it's fairly average in my view.
