Take advantage of a massive discount of 95% on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle. For a limited time, you can also get 80% off on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 through Audio Plugin Deals. This virtual instrument by KarmaFX is available at an incredible price.

Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and adaptability. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular can replicate the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.

When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming Digital Signal Processing (DSP). On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 also adopts a similar approach, but with its own unique design philosophy.

If you are interested in expanding your collection of virtual modular synths, you can take advantage of a great deal on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2. Audio Plugin Deals is offering a discount of 80% off on this software until February

I am a huge fan of the VCV Rack workflow and I often use it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be highly interesting and captivating.

The preset sounds are impressive, although they are mostly focused on trance music and its related subgenres.

If you are searching for deep and precise bass sounds, intense and harsh leads with a gated effect, and rich and atmospheric cinematic pads, this device is highly capable of producing them.

Understanding the signal flow of Synth Modular 2 can be a bit challenging at first. However, once you have mastered the process of programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, there are endless possibilities and potential for creativity.

I have a strong appreciation for the possibilities offered by sequencer modules. Unlike traditional sequencers like those found on a Serge system or with analog modeled knobs, these modules provide a more visually immersive experience.

The user interface of Synth Modular 2 is designed in a way that is easy to understand and navigate. It is also adaptable to different screen sizes, making it particularly advantageous for users with larger resolution screens. As a testament to its performance, I personally tried using Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and found it to be very efficient and responsive.

I would appreciate it if the window could be resized without any restrictions, but that is a complaint for another occasion. Nevertheless, considering its price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile purchase.

Synth Modular 2 performs exceptionally well on Windows computers. However, when I experimented with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it defaulted to using Rosetta.

However, there are many things to discover in this offer. By having access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, you have the opportunity to create unique and mind-blowing combinations, but it requires dedication and time. It is recommended to take advantage of this sale promptly, as it will not be available for much longer.

Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently discounted by 80% until February 5th, and is now available for $39.99.

An extremely captivating plugin

However, Pluginomat had the same offer available last month.

I am curious if Karma FX has set the price too high because they are offering numerous sales.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. I think the price set for it is too expensive considering the fact that it is often available for purchase at a discounted price

I want to caution anyone considering purchasing this product that it only includes either a MacOS or a Windows version, not both. If you initially buy it for Mac and later decide to switch and use it on a Windows computer, you won't be able to do so. The license is only valid for one operating system, which I find quite impractical since I regularly work on multiple platforms.

I made the purchase two years ago. The sound quality and versatility are satisfactory, although they didn't impress me greatly. The CPU usage is moderate, which is acceptable considering that modular synths tend to be demanding. It would be great to have different skins as options. The user experience is somewhat cumbersome. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall it is rather average in my opinion.
