Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle is currently being offered at a massive 95% discount. For a limited time, KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 is also available at a discounted price of 80%. Audio Plugin Deals is the platform where you can take advantage of this offer and get your hands on the virtual instrument by KarmaFX.
Modular synthesis offers a sense of liberation and adaptability. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular have the capability to mimic the signal flow found in a Eurorack setup.
When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming digital signal processing. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 adopts a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.
If you are interested in enhancing your collection of virtual modular synthesizers, you can get the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off from Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.
I am a big fan of the VCV Rack workflow and I often use it on both Mac and Windows. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be very interesting.
The preset settings on this sound system are impressive, although they are mainly designed for trance music and its related subgenres.
If you are searching for strong and precise bass sounds, harsh and distinct lead sounds, and deep and atmospheric pad sounds, it is able to produce them easily.
Synth Modular 2 may be challenging to grasp initially as you navigate through its signal flow. However, once you become familiar with creating sounds from scratch using its modular components, there are endless possibilities and no boundaries to what you can achieve.
I have a great appreciation for the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Rather than being limited to the analog modeled knobs found on a Serge or a standard sequencer, these modules provide a more visually immersive experience.
The user interface is easily understandable and visually appealing. It adjusts smoothly to fit various screen sizes, which is advantageous for those using high-resolution displays. I personally tried out Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was satisfied with its excellent performance in adapting to the display.
I really hope that the window could be resized without any restrictions, but I will address this concern at a different time. Nevertheless, I believe that it is worth buying at a price of $39.99.
Synth Modular 2 functions perfectly on Windows computers. Nevertheless, when experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.
However, there is a lot to discover in this offering. With access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, there are endless possibilities for creating unique and mind-blowing combinations if you are willing to invest the time. It is advisable to take advantage of this sale soon, as it will not be available for much longer.
Take a look at this special offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently available at a discount of 80% until February 5th, for only $39.99.

An incredibly fascinating plugin
However, the identical promotion was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.
I'm curious if Karma FX has set the price too high because they have been having many sales.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, the price set for it is too high, especially considering the fact that it is regularly available for purchase
I want to caution anyone who plans to purchase this product that it only includes either a MacOS or a Windows version, not both. If you initially buy it for Mac but later decide to deactivate it and switch to Windows, you won't be able to do so. This product only allows for use on a single operating system, which I find to be quite impractical since I work on multiple platforms.
I made the purchase two years ago. The sound quality and versatility are satisfactory, although they didn't impress me greatly. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths, so it's not a major drawback. It would be great to have some different visual designs for it. The user interface is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall, I find it to be rather average.
