Take advantage of a 95% discount on the Electronic Music Bundle from Universal Audio. For a limited time, you can also get an 80% discount on the Synth Modular 2 virtual instrument by KarmaFX through Audio Plugin Deals.
Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and adaptability. Platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular allow users to replicate the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.
When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar path but incorporates its unique design philosophy.
If you are interested in enhancing your collection of virtual modular synths, you can get the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off from Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.
I really love the way VCV Rack operates and I often use it on both Mac and Windows. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be very interesting.
The pre-set sounds are excellent, although they are mostly designed for trance music and its related subgenres.
If you are searching for deep and impactful bass sounds, harsh and cutting lead sounds, and rich and atmospheric pad sounds, it can effortlessly produce those effects.
The learning curve for understanding the signal flow of Synth Modular 2 may be a bit challenging. However, once you have mastered programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, there are endless possibilities and no limits to what you can achieve.
I have a particular appreciation for the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Unlike being limited to the analog simulated knobs of a Serge or a conventional sequencer, these modules provide a more visually immersive experience.
The layout of the user interface is straightforward and easily understandable. It adjusts effectively to fit different screen sizes, which is advantageous if you have a higher resolution screen. I personally tried out Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was satisfied with its ability to adapt and function smoothly.
I hope that the window could be adjusted in size without any restrictions, but I'll save that complaint for another occasion. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile investment.
The Synth Modular 2 software performs exceptionally well on computers running Windows operating system. However, I faced some problems while experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, as it automatically defaulted to running on Rosetta.
However, there are many things to discover and experiment with in this package. It offers both a synthesizer and sound effects plugin, allowing you to create unique and mind-blowing combinations if you are willing to invest time into it. It is highly recommended to take advantage of this opportunity as the sale will not be available for much longer.
Take a look at this great offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale for 80% off until February 5th, priced at just $39.99.

An extremely captivating add-on.
However, the identical offer was available on Pluginomat in the previous month.
I am curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high considering the number of sales they are currently offering.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, the price set for it is too high considering the fact that it is often available for sale at a
I want to caution anyone who plans to purchase this product that it only includes either a MacOS or a Windows version, not both. If you initially buy it for Mac but later decide to switch to Windows, you won't be able to deactivate and transfer the license. This limitation seems impractical to me since I frequently work on both platforms.
I made the purchase two years ago. Although the sound quality and flexibility are satisfactory, it didn't impress me greatly. The CPU usage is moderate (which is expected for modular synths) and not too bad. It would be great to have some different skins for it. The usability is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall, it's fairly average in my opinion.
