Take advantage of a 95% discount on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle. For a limited time, you can also get an 80% discount on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 virtual instrument through Audio Plugin Deals.
Modular synthesis offers a significant level of freedom and adaptability. Tools such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular enable the emulation of the signal flow found in a Eurorack setup.
For Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 also follows a similar approach, but it has its own unique design philosophy.
From now until February 5th, Audio Plugin Deals is offering a massive 80% discount on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2, a fantastic option for enhancing your virtual modular synth collection. Don't miss out on this opportunity to upgrade
I have a great fondness for the VCV Rack's way of working and I often utilize it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. Nevertheless, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis quite fascinating.
The available presets produce excellent sounds, although they are predominantly designed for trance music and its related subgenres.
If you are searching for deep and impactful bass sounds, sharp and intense lead sounds with a gating effect, and rich and evocative cinematic pads, it can easily produce those.
The Synth Modular 2 may take some time for users to understand its signal flow. However, once you have mastered the skill of programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, there are endless possibilities for creativity and exploration.
I have a strong liking for the possibilities offered by sequencer modules. Unlike the limited analog modeled knobs of a Serge or a regular sequencer, the visual elements are more diverse and captivating.
The user interface is easily understandable and visually appealing. It adjusts smoothly to fit different screen sizes, which is advantageous for those using higher resolutions. I personally tried out Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and found it to be efficient and capable of handling the display excellently.
I hope that the window could be resized without any restrictions, although that complaint can be discussed later on. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile investment.
The Synth Modular 2 software works smoothly on Windows computers. However, I faced some problems while testing the trial version on my M1 Mac, as it automatically switched to Rosetta.
Nevertheless, there are numerous opportunities for exploration available. By accessing both a synthesizer and an effects plugin, you have the potential to create extraordinary combinations, granted that you are willing to invest your time. It is advisable to secure your purchase promptly, as this sale will not remain available for long.
Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale at a discounted price of 80% until February 5th, costing only $39.99

An extremely captivating plugin.
However, the identical opportunity was available on Pluginomat in the previous month.
I am curious if Karma FX has set the price too high because they frequently have sales.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my perspective, the product was initially set at an excessive price, considering the fact that it is often available for purchase
I would like to give a heads-up to anyone who plans on purchasing this product. It is important to note that when you make a purchase, you will receive either a MacOS version or a Windows version, but not both. If you initially buy it for Mac and later decide to deactivate it and switch to Windows, unfortunately, you won't be able to do so. This software is licensed for use on only one operating system. Personally, I find this decision rather unwise as I frequently work on multiple platforms.
I made the purchase two years ago. The sound quality and flexibility of the product are satisfactory, but they didn't exceed my expectations. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths. It would be great to have different skins available for it. The usability is a bit clumsy. I would consider it to be decent for a modular synth, but overall it is fairly average in my opinion.
