  • by

Universal Audio is offering a massive discount of 95% on their Electronic Music Bundle. For a limited time, FKFX Audio is providing their Sylab vowel filter plugin for free with the LFOGrid tool on both Windows and Mac operating systems.

The company is preparing to introduce LFOGrid, a tool designed to easily generate musical LFO curves.

The tool is combined with three plugins that the company is planning to release soon: Sylab, Obvious Filter 2, and Influx Pro.

As a way to introduce the product, the company offers a promotion on their website where users can enter for a chance to win a free reservation to access the Sylab plugin.

The reservation, which is currently free, can be made now but will no longer be available after January

In order to obtain the plugin, you will be required to provide your email address. Subsequently, the download link will be sent to you on January 25th.

Once the promotion ends, the Sylab product will be available for purchase at a price of $59.

Currently, there is not much information available about the Sylab plugin from FKFX Audio. The company is currently focusing on promoting the LFOGrid tool, but we can expect to learn more about Sylab later this month.

LFOGrid allows users to experiment with various styles of LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) at the basic level. As they progress to the Patterns level, they will have access to more customization choices. At the Advanced level, users can utilize specialized editing features for further control

There are several levels available, each offering a wide range of LFOs. Users can easily incorporate these LFOs into their mixes by simply clicking on the preview.

At present, FKFX Audio has presented LFOGrid through a short promotional video and a more comprehensive tutorial video. These videos demonstrate how LFOGrid can be used in the upcoming Obvious Filter 2 plugin.

You can find both videos on the Sylab product page mentioned in the link provided.

The company has recently introduced a new product called Sylab, alongside upgrades to their existing releases Influx Pro and Obvious Filter 2, which are developed by FKFX Audio.

Influx, a plugin that creates resonator distortion effects, is currently being offered for free. However, it will no longer be available once Influx Pro is released. So, if you want to take advantage of another free offer, you should act fast and get it now.

The morphing filter called Obvious Filter is currently priced at $59, but it might be a good idea to wait for the upgraded version.

Sylab can be used as a VST, VST3, or AU plugin. It can run on Windows 10 or macOS 11 Big Sur, supporting both Intel and M1 native compilation.

Additional information: Sylab is currently available for free but only for a limited period.

I am confused. Is the license free or is it more like a trial period where it is free for 5 days?

This event has a specific duration, meaning that if you arrive within the specified time, you can access the paid program without any charge.

Posting trials here is pointless because every paid program offers them.

I'm wondering, was there a lack of a complimentary plugin included in the loopcloud subscription for this month? Or did I accidentally overlook it?

Sorry

No, not yet. The Repeater was excellent. I had anticipated that they would continue using it for two months.

The activation process for Sylab is extremely complicated and doesn't work well, making it the worst I've ever come across in any paid or free plugin. This is particularly notable if you have experience with Waves plugins or those requiring ilok. Sylab fails to connect to the server, causing your digital audio workstation (DAW) to freeze and preventing it from closing while it attempts to perform tasks that it ultimately fails to accomplish.

It seems that the acronym FKFX is a shortened version of the phrase "F**K you FX."
