Midi Maker is a music generation tool that operates on randomness and is available for free.

Midi Maker is a handy tool that allows you to effortlessly and rapidly create fresh music.

There are numerous methods to begin a fresh composition, such as initiating it with a catchy tune, a sequence of harmonies, a particular rhythm, and so on. In order to assist with this process, Midi Maker is a free tool designed to aid in the quick and effortless creation of new music.

The manner in which you begin something has a significant impact on how everything else that follows will unfold. To illustrate, the balance and organization in a piece of music will shape the melody, while the tempo and beat can influence the way the lyrics are delivered, and vice versa.

Certain musicians strongly believe that there is one optimal method, but ultimately, the approach that works best for you is the most suitable. Personally, I have always made an effort to not restrict myself to a specific approach and instead embrace a more open mindset, even when it comes to personal projects and the genre they may fall under.

Having more creative freedom can be advantageous, as it allows for greater expression and exploration. However, there is a drawback to having too much freedom, as it can sometimes result in creative block or a decrease in productivity. This is similar to when someone spends excessive time browsing movies on Netflix instead of actually watching them, which can hinder their progress. In contrast

In certain situations, having absolute freedom is not possible due to the presence of existing guidelines that need to be adhered to. In such cases, a tool like Midi Maker can serve as a valuable aid.

Midi Maker is a tool that creates original music by combining different synthesizers, drum machines, and chord patterns based on the preferences set by the user. With this generator, users can choose the fundamental aspects of their song, such as the genre, structure, tempo, and key, and then adjust more complex settings to further customize the output.

After mastering the basics, you have the freedom to decide the number of chords, melodies, and other elements you want to include. If you have multiple chords, you can categorize the harmonic development as Static, Sectional, or Progressive. Moreover, you have the option to modify the number of variations in each section.

After you have prepared yourself to create music, Midi Maker will guide you to the following page. On this page, you will be able to listen to a preview of your creation and make changes to the melodies, bass, chords, drum machine, and chord patterns.

Every component has different options and settings that can be adjusted, like Envelopes, Density, Timing, and Velocities. You have the ability to make modifications in real-time and immediately listen to the updated outcome during playback.

Although there are numerous settings available for customization, the process of generating is solely reliant on randomness within the given parameters, rather than artificial intelligence and machine learning. The advantage of employing randomness is that it ensures the creation of something distinctive and avoids being overly common or generic.

Once you are satisfied with your outcomes, you have the option to download the MIDI file and import it into your digital audio workstation (DAW) or software to continue working on it.

There are two versions of Midi Maker available. The Free version allows users to download one file per month, and it only supports 4/4 time signature. On the other hand, the Premium version requires a monthly subscription fee of £19.50 and offers unlimited downloads. It also supports any time

By enrolling at this moment, you have the opportunity to receive a discount of 50% for the initial three months. Anything that aids in initiating a concept is highly beneficial, particularly for individuals who frequently require generating substantial amounts of content.

I thoroughly enjoyed using Midi Maker and was pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. It serves as a unique and inspiring tool to initiate the creative process, and I believe it will continue to grow and improve in the future.

I do have a concern about the Premium version because the prices are generally too high for many users. It will face tough competition in trying to convince users to spend their money on it instead of other options. However, only time will tell how successful it will be.

If you use Windows and haven't taken a look at epicCLOUDS, the latest free offering from Variety of Sound, you should definitely check it out!

It's already past the appropriate time to wish someone a Happy New Year without receiving amusement, but as this is my initial post of the year 2024, I would like to extend my well wishes to everyone and express my satisfaction in being active again.

Take a look at this offer: Midi Maker (available for free or upgrade to the premium version for £19.50 per month).

Hello, you are greatly appreciated. We are thankful that you took the time to read BPB! 🙂

I agree with the statement that these developers often have an inflated sense of their idea's value, thinking it is unique and untouchable by bigger companies who might copy it and present it with their own products. This has happened multiple times in the past year, so it's important for these developers to have a realistic outlook. It's not as if they are putting in any effort after compiling their ideas.

Contrary to the negative comments, I found the capabilities of MidiMaker to be quite impressive. If I frequently purchased MIDI packs, MidiMaker would be a preferable choice for me.

However, requesting $20 per month for a specialized product like this is quite a lot, and personally, I would rather create my own melodies and rhythms rather than feeling like I'm taking shortcuts. Midimaker does not align well with my usual working process and financial situation, so I cannot justify subscribing to it. Additionally, I have a strong aversion to subscription models, and I am certain that my stance on this will never change.

I must confess that I would be open to considering this product if it had a single, affordable payment. It would be useful during moments when I feel creatively stuck and require some inspiration, or when I simply want to spend a few hours experimenting in my digital audio workstation.

I think it would be beneficial if the developer reconsiders the pricing and incorporates a subscription model, or at the very least provides an alternative option. Regardless, I genuinely hope for the best for him as he has created a great product.

I believe that inspiration can come from anything, and I don't judge where it comes from. It could be the sound of rain, exploring a new genre of music through a MIDI pack, or even a piece of code that generates music. Whatever works for you. It's like finding what makes your cat happy. Anyway, I would never criticize someone's creative process because it clearly involves a lot of effort. Personally, I've found great value in using CodeFN42's RandARP and Transition as tools to generate random musical ideas. They are incredibly helpful. As for the subscription model, I understand that some people prefer it, but I personally can't get on board with it. I hope the developer of this tool finds their target audience. Maybe introducing a third pricing option in the middle (where users have full capabilities but are limited to one use per day, for example) would attract more users and help them determine if they truly need it. The competition in this field is tough.

Various plugins such as Orb plugins, Captain plugins, and Harvest, along with others like Atlas and XO, offer similar functionalities. However, the need for subscriptions for these types of tools is generally considered undesirable.

I believe I already mentioned this earlier, but it's possible that my comment didn't get posted. There are several software options such as Atlas, Captain Epic, XO, Harvest, Phrasebox, and Orb Plugins that offer similar functionality without requiring a subscription. It seems like a poor decision to choose a subscription-based option. Although it might be interesting, I personally wouldn't spend time on something when I can simply purchase a comparable product for a similar price.

Beginning a new song can be challenging, especially when you're not feeling particularly creative. Midi Maker appears to be a useful tool that provides a plethora of creative possibilities right at your fingertips, or rather, within your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). I'm planning to utilize this software for some upcoming projects to test its true capabilities. This article has sparked my inspiration to create music using Midi Maker.

James, I'm interested to know how many projects you are embarking on at the moment.

I regret purchasing it without trying it out first, as it turned out to be a complete waste of money. It felt more like a toy
