Unlock Your Creativity with Midi Maker: A Tool for Quick and Easy Music Generation

  • by

Save 95% on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle, a comprehensive collection of software. Midi Maker is a music generator tool that is completely free and operates on the principle of randomness. With Midi Maker, you can effortlessly and rapidly create fresh, original music.

There are numerous methods to begin a new piece of music. One can commence with the melody, a harmonic sequence, a particular rhythm, or other techniques. To assist in this process, Midi Maker is a cost-free tool that facilitates the quick and effortless creation of new music.

The way you begin something has a significant impact on how it will unfold. For instance, the arrangement and organization will shape the melodic aspect, while the rhythm can determine the way the phrases are formed, and vice versa.

Certain musicians strongly believe that there is one superior method, but ultimately, the approach that suits you personally is the most effective. Personally, I have always refrained from fixating on a specific approach and instead allowed things to unfold naturally, even to the extent of not being overly rigid about the genre of my own creative endeavors.

The advantage is having greater liberty to be creative, but the disadvantage is that too much freedom can often result in a creative block (similar to when I spend excessive time searching for movies on Netflix instead of actually watching them) or reduced efficiency when compared to a more organized approach.

In certain situations, having complete freedom may not be feasible due to the presence of existing guidelines, and utilizing a tool like Midi Maker could prove to be extremely beneficial.

Midi Maker is a music generation tool that creates new music by combining various elements such as polysynths, drum machines, and chord patterns based on the preferences set by the user. The tool enables users to choose the fundamental components of their song, such as genre, structure, tempo, and key, and then provides options for adjusting more advanced settings.

After understanding the basic principles, you have the freedom to decide the quantity of chords, melodies, and other elements you want to incorporate. If you include multiple chords, you can categorize the harmonic development as either Static, Sectional, or Progressive. Additionally, you have the option to modify the number of variations within each section.

After you have finished preparing, Midi Maker guides you to the following page. Here, you are able to listen to and evaluate the music you have created, as well as make changes to the polysynths (melodies, bass, and chords), drum machine, and chord patterns.

Every component provides different options and settings to adjust, like Envelopes, Density, Timing, and Velocities. You have the ability to make modifications in real-time and immediately listen to the updated outcomes during playback within a matter of seconds.

Even though there are many options available to customize, the process of generation relies solely on random selection (within the limits of your chosen settings) rather than using AI and machine learning. The advantage of randomness is that it guarantees something distinct and avoids being too ordinary or predictable.

Once you are satisfied with the outcome, you have the option to download the MIDI file and import it into your digital audio workstation or software for further enhancement and refinement.

There are two versions of Midi Maker available. The Free version allows for one download per month and is limited to 4/4 time. On the other hand, the Premium version costs £19.50 per month and provides unlimited downloads, the ability to choose any time signature, and offers the feature

If you register at this moment, you will receive a 50% discount on your initial three months. Anything that aids in initiating a concept is highly beneficial, particularly for individuals who consistently require generating a substantial amount of content.

I thoroughly enjoyed using Midi Maker, and to be honest, it surpassed my expectations. It's a captivating tool that sparks creativity, and I believe it will continue to grow and improve in the future.

I have a slight worry that the Premium version might struggle to convince users to invest their money in it instead of other alternatives, due to the generally high prices of products and services. However, only time will tell if this concern is valid.

If you use Windows and haven't yet explored epicCLOUDS, the latest free offering from Variety of Sound, you should definitely give it a try!

I understand that it may sound silly to wish someone a Happy New Year at this point in time, but as this is my first post of the year 2024, I would like to express my well wishes to everyone and mention that I am glad to be back.

Take a look at this offer: Midi Maker is available in two versions – a free version and a premium version which costs £19.50 per month.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the person who created this blog. It has provided me with a wealth of valuable and educational information. Although this is my first time writing, I have been a devoted reader for many years. Thank you immensely!

Hello, you are greatly appreciated. We are grateful that you took the time to read BPB! 🙂

I must agree with the sentiment expressed here. Often, developers have a great idea and believe it is unique and valuable, assuming that larger companies won't copy it and incorporate it into their own products. However, we have witnessed this happen numerous times in the past year. While I wish them luck, they need to have a realistic perspective. After all, they are not putting in any additional effort beyond simply compiling their creations.

In contrast to the negative individuals in the comments, I personally found the capabilities of the product quite impressive. If I were someone who frequently purchases MIDI packs, I would consider MidiMaker as a superior option.

However, requesting $20 per month for a specialized product like this is quite demanding. Personally, I prefer to create my own melodies and rhythms, otherwise it feels like I'm taking shortcuts. Midimaker does not align well with my usual working process and financial situation, so subscribing to it doesn't seem justified. Additionally, I have a strong aversion towards subscription models and I am certain that my stance on this will never alter.

I must confess that if the product had a one-time payment that was reasonably priced, I would definitely think about using it during moments when I'm experiencing creative block and seeking inspiration, or when I'm feeling bored and just want to experiment with my DAW for a few hours.

I hope the developer takes into account the possibility of altering the pricing and incorporating a different payment model, such as a subscription. It would be great if they also provide an alternative option. In any case, I wish them all the best as they have created a valuable product

I believe that inspiration can come from anything, and I don't judge where it comes from. It could be the sound of rain, exploring a new genre of music through a MIDI pack, or even a piece of code that generates music. Whatever makes you feel inspired. Or should I say, whatever makes your cat happy? Anyway, I don't want to criticize something that clearly requires effort. Personally, I have found CodeFN42's RandARP and Transition to be incredibly useful tools that provide constrained randomization as a main source of inspiration. They are brilliant tools that help a lot. As for the subscription model, I understand that some people may prefer it, but I personally can't get on board with it. I hope the developer finds their audience. Maybe introducing a middle pricing option (with full capabilities but limited usage, like once per day) could attract more users and help them determine if they really need it. The competition in this field is intense.

In other words, there are various plugins like Orb and Captain that perform this function. Harvest is another tool that can do the same. There are many other options available as well, such as Atlas and XO. However, having subscriptions for these types of tools is not ideal.

I believe I mentioned this before, but it's possible that my comment didn't get posted. There are various software options like Atlas, Captain Epic, XO, Harvest, Phrasebox, and Orb Plugins that offer similar functionality without requiring a subscription. It seems like a poor decision to implement a subscription model. While it may be interesting, I personally don't see the value in investing time and money into something that I can simply purchase outright for a similar price.

Beginning a new song can be challenging, particularly when lacking the inspiration to be creative. Midi Maker appears to be a useful tool that offers a plethora of creative possibilities at your fingertips, or rather, in your digital audio workstation (DAW). I plan to utilize this software for a few upcoming projects to assess its true capabilities. This article has motivated me to explore music production through Midi Maker.

James, I'm wondering, how many projects are you planning to begin?

I regret purchasing the item without trying it out first. It ended up being a complete waste of money and I consider it to be nothing more
