I agree with the sentiment that these developers often have a great idea and believe it is unique and valuable. However, they underestimate the possibility of larger companies copying their idea and incorporating it into their own products. This has happened frequently in the past year. While I wish them luck, they need to be more realistic about the situation. After all, it's not as if they are putting in any additional effort beyond compiling their ideas.

Contrary to the negative comments, I found the capabilities of the product quite impressive. If I frequently purchase MIDI packs, MidiMaker would be a preferable option for me.
However, requesting $20 per month for a specialized product like this is quite a lot, and personally, I would rather create my own melodies and rhythms instead, as it feels more genuine. Midimaker does not align well with my usual workflow and financial situation, so I cannot justify subscribing to it. Additionally, I strongly dislike subscription models and I am certain that my opinion on this matter will never change.
I must confess that if the product had a one-time payment that was reasonably priced, I could imagine myself considering it during moments when I feel creatively stuck and require some inspiration. Additionally, it might be appealing to me when I'm feeling bored and just want to spend a couple of hours experimenting in my DAW.
I believe it would be beneficial for the developer to reconsider the pricing structure and consider incorporating a subscription model, or at the very least, provide customers with another alternative. Regardless, I genuinely wish the developer success as they have created a commendable product.

It could be the sound of rain, exploring a new genre through a MIDI pack, or even a piece of generative code. Whatever makes you feel inspired. Oh, and I should mention, whatever makes your cat happy too. However, I want to make it clear that I don't want to criticize the work that comes from these sources of inspiration. Personally, I have found CodeFN42's RandARP and Transition to be incredibly helpful tools for generating ideas through controlled randomness. They truly are brilliant. As for the subscription model, I understand that some people may prefer it, but personally, I can't get on board with it. I hope the developer is able to find their audience. Maybe introducing a third pricing option, somewhere in the middle (offering full capabilities but limited usage per day, or something similar), could help attract more users and determine if they truly need it. The competition is tough.

To clarify, Orb plugins, Captain plugins, Harvest, and various other tools all have this capability. Examples include Atlas and XO. However, subscriptions for these types of tools are not desirable.

There are various plugins such as Atlas, Captain Epic, XO, Harvest, Phrasebox, Orb Plugins, and more that offer similar features without requiring a subscription. It seems like a poor decision to implement a subscription model. It might be interesting, but I personally won't invest my time in something I can simply purchase for a similar price.
