Save 95% on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle, which includes various software and plugins related to electronic music production. Midi Maker is a music generator tool that is available for free and operates based on randomization. It assists users in effortlessly and swiftly composing new music.
When beginning a new composition, there are multiple approaches you can take. You have the option to start with the melody, a series of chords, a particular rhythm, and more. To assist with this process, Midi Maker is a free tool designed to aid in the quick and effortless creation of new music.
The way you begin something can have a significant impact on everything that follows. For instance, the choices you make regarding harmony and structure will shape the melody, and the rhythm can also influence the way you structure your phrases, and vice versa.
Many musicians believe that there is a specific method that is superior, but ultimately, the approach that works for you is the best one. Personally, I have always avoided sticking to a particular approach and instead allowed things to unfold naturally. This includes not being too rigid about the genre of my personal projects.
On the positive side, having more creative freedom allows for greater flexibility and expression. However, the negative aspect is that excessive freedom can sometimes result in a creative block, similar to when one spends more time searching for movies to watch on Netflix rather than actually watching them. Additionally, it may also lead to decreased productivity in comparison to a more organized and structured
There are certain situations where having complete freedom is not possible due to existing guidelines that need to be adhered to. In such cases, a tool like Midi Maker can be extremely beneficial.
Midi Maker is a tool that creates new music by utilizing multiple synthesizers, drum machines, and chord patterns based on specific preferences set by the user. The user has the ability to choose various aspects of their song, such as the genre, structure, tempo, and key, before adjusting more intricate settings.
After mastering the basics, you have the freedom to decide the quantity of chords, melodies, and other elements you want to include. If you choose to incorporate multiple chords, you can categorize the harmonic development as either Static, Sectional, or Progressive. Additionally, you have the flexibility to modify the number of variations within each section.
After preparing yourself to create music, Midi Maker will lead you to the following page. Here, you will be able to listen to a preview of the music you have created and make changes to the melodies, bass, chords, drum machine, and chord patterns.
Every component has different options and settings that can be adjusted, like Envelopes, Density, Timing, and Velocities. These can be modified in real-time and the updated sound can be heard immediately during playback.
Although there are numerous settings available for customization, the generation process relies solely on randomness (within the parameters of your chosen settings) rather than utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning. The advantage of incorporating randomness is that it ensures every output is distinct and avoids being too commonplace.
Once you are satisfied with your outcomes, you have the option to download the MIDI file and transfer it to your digital audio workstation or software to continue working on it.
There are two versions of Midi Maker available. The Free version allows you to download one time per month and only supports 4/4 time signature. On the other hand, the Premium version costs £19.50 per month and offers unlimited downloads. Additionally, it supports any time signature and allows you
By registering at this moment, you will receive a 50% discount on your initial three months. Anything that aids in initiating a concept is highly beneficial, particularly for individuals who frequently need to generate a substantial amount of content.
My experience with Midi Maker was enjoyable, and to be honest, it exceeded my expectations. It provides a unique and exciting way to initiate the creative process, and I believe it will continue to grow and improve in the future.
Given that prices are generally high for most products, my main concern is that the Premium version will struggle to convince users to invest their money in it instead of other alternatives. However, only time will determine the outcome.
If you use Windows and haven't tried epicCLOUDS, the latest free offering from Variety of Sound, you should definitely give it a go!
It is already too late to greet someone with a Happy New Year without being mocked, but as this is my initial post of 2024, I would like to extend my well wishes to everyone and express my excitement to be back.
Take a look at this offer: Midi Maker is available in both a free version and a premium version that costs £19.50 per month.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the creator of this blog without any hint of sarcasm. The blog contains a wealth of valuable and, more importantly, educational content. Although this is my first time leaving a comment, I have been a dedicated reader for several years. Thank you so much!

Hello, you are greatly appreciated. We appreciate you taking the time to read BPB! 🙂

I agree with the statement that these developers often believe their ideas are unique and valuable, as if the established companies won't copy and integrate them into their own products. This has been observed multiple times in the past year. While I wish them good luck, it is important for them to have a realistic perspective. It seems like they are not putting in any effort beyond compiling the components.

Contrary to the negative individuals in the comment section, I found myself quite impressed with the capabilities of MidiMaker. If I frequently purchased MIDI packs, I would consider MidiMaker as a preferable option.
However, requesting $20 per month for a specialized product like this is quite a lot, and I personally prefer to create my own melodies and rhythms. If I were to use Midimaker, it would disrupt my usual way of working and also strain my budget, making it difficult to justify subscribing. Additionally, I have a strong aversion to subscription models and I am certain that my stance on this will not change.
I must confess that I would be open to considering this product if it had a one-time payment option at a reasonable price. It would be particularly useful for those moments when I am experiencing a creative block and need some inspiration, or when I am feeling bored and want to spend a few hours experimenting in my digital audio workstation (DAW).
I believe it would be beneficial for the developer to reconsider the pricing and incorporate a subscription model or provide an alternative option. Regardless, I wish the developer success as they have created a high-quality product.

I believe inspiration can come from anything, and I don't judge what material it comes from. It could be the sound of rain, exploring a new genre through a MIDI pack, or even a piece of generative code. Whatever makes you excited and motivated. Or maybe I should say whatever makes your cat meow? Anyway, I don't want to dismiss the value of the work that comes from these sources of inspiration. Personally, I have found CodeFN42's RandARP and Transition to be incredibly helpful tools for generating random ideas within certain constraints. They have been a great source of inspiration for me. Regarding the subscription model, I understand that some people may become accustomed to it, but personally, I find it difficult to accept. 🙂 I hope the developer is able to find their audience. Maybe introducing a third pricing option in the middle, with full capabilities but limited usage per day, could attract more users and help them determine if they truly need it. The competition in this field is intense. :/

There are several plugins like Orb, Captain, and Harvest that offer similar features. Additionally, there are other plugins such as Atlas and XO that also provide similar functionalities. However, the concept of subscribing to these types of plugins can be frustrating.

I believe I already mentioned this, but it's possible that my comment did not successfully submit. There are various software options available, such as Atlas, Captain Epic, XO, Harvest, Phrasebox, Orb Plugins, and more, that offer similar functionality without requiring a subscription. It seems like a disadvantageous decision to opt for a subscription model. While it may be appealing, I personally would not invest my time in something that I can simply purchase for a similar price.

Beginning a new song can often be challenging, especially when lacking creative inspiration. Midi Maker appears to be a useful tool that offers a multitude of creative possibilities directly within your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). I plan to utilize this software for upcoming projects to truly gauge its capabilities. This article has inspired me to explore music production using Midi Maker.
Hey James, I'm wondering, how many projects do you have on your plate right now?
