Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, known as "trolls," after having all charges dropped following his arrest last Monday.
Using social media, the singer shared a surveillance video along with a message directed towards those who accused him of wrongdoing for physically engaging with a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had concluded his examination of the evidence and decided to drop the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had already acknowledged that they had urged Young to keep his distance after he attempted to interfere in their license check.
A video, which was acquired by Taste of Country, depicts Young attempting to restrain an agent without displaying much aggression. From one perspective, it is uncertain whether he actually made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" denies ever making physical contact with anyone. He recently posted a video on TikTok where he addresses the incident for the first time.
The person who wrote this message is addressing the people who are criticizing them for allegedly touching a police officer. They clarify that they did not actually touch the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
