Chris Young took a moment to address his critics after having all charges dropped following his arrest last Monday.
The vocalist utilized social media to share a surveillance video and deliver a message to those who criticized him for touching a law enforcement officer, asserting that they were mistaken.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence, leading to the dismissal of charges. Earlier, the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged their involvement in urging Young to "create distance" after he attempted to interfere with their license check.
A video obtained by Taste of Country depicts Young's non-aggressive behavior as he attempts to prevent an agent. From one perspective, it is uncertain whether he actually made physical contact with the individual.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not physically make contact with anyone. He recently posted a video on his TikTok account where he addresses the incident for the first time.
In response to those who criticize and advise against interacting with a police officer, the person asserts that they did not physically make contact with the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
