On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and dismissed the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged their involvement in pressuring Young to create separation after he attempted to interfere in their license check.
Taste of Country has acquired a video that depicts Young's behavior as he attempts to prevent an agent, showing minimal aggression. From one angle, it is unclear if Young made any physical contact with the man.

After having all charges dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. It is expected that he will resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
