Chris Young confidently addressed his critics after all charges against him were dismissed following his arrest last Monday.
The vocalist used social media to share a surveillance video along with a message to address those who accused him of wrongdoing for touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence, resulting in the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously confessed to urging Young to keep his distance after he attempted to intervene in their inspection of licenses.
A video acquired by Taste of Country depicts Young displaying minimal aggression while attempting to prevent an agent from proceeding. From one perspective, it is unclear whether Young actually made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. In a recent video posted on his TikTok account, he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
In response to the trolls who are advising against engaging with a police officer, the person clarifies that they did not physically make contact with the officer.
After having all charges against him dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
