Luke Combs has made progress in his plans to open his bar in downtown Nashville. He recently shared the name of his upcoming establishment, which is Category 10.
The singer expresses his immense enthusiasm in a video message shared on his social media. The video was recorded behind the scenes at the Grand Ole Opry, where he is an established member. Additionally, he is collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his very own bar.
As most of you are aware, the highest possible intensity for a hurricane is categorized as Category 5. However, we decided to envision a scenario where we could amplify its strength by increasing it to Category 10.
"It's going to be an incredible country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of food and drinks. No matter what you're looking for, we will have it available. It's going to be a highly enjoyable experience," he enthusiastically expressed. "I'm eagerly anticipating the opening of this establishment and can't wait to have all of you join us."
Although he did not explicitly state it in his social media announcement, the title Category 10 reminds one of Combs' initial song, "Hurricane." This song draws a parallel between the impact of unexpectedly encountering an ex-lover and the devastation caused by a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" became Combs' first song to reach the top of the charts, initiating a remarkable series of consecutive No.1 hits that still persists today. Every one of Combs' 17 official radio singles has achieved the highest position on the country charts.
Combs initially provided information about his bar in Nashville in April 2023. He is among a group of famous musicians who have invested in a popular location in the city center. Now, with the opening of Category 10, he joins the likes of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and several others in this endeavor.
