Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, commonly known as 'trolls', after all the assault charges against him were dropped. He expressed his satisfaction and relief after the incident that occurred on Monday.
The artist used social media to share a video footage from a surveillance camera along with a statement addressing those who accused him of being at fault for physically interacting with a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged their role in pressuring Young to keep his distance when he attempted to intervene in their license check.
A video, which was obtained by Taste of Country, depicts Young attempting to prevent an agent without displaying much aggression. From one perspective, it raises doubt about whether he even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not physically interact with anyone. He has recently addressed the incident for the first time in a video posted on his TikTok account.
"I didn't physically make contact with the police officer," he states in response to those individuals who are criticizing him and advising not to engage with law enforcement.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally affected by the incident. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
