Luke Combs has moved one step forward in his plans to open his new bar in downtown Nashville. He recently disclosed the name of the bar, which will be called Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his immense enthusiasm for an upcoming event. The video was recorded backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where the singer is a recognized member. Additionally, he is collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his new bar.
As most of you are aware, hurricanes are classified on a scale of 1 to 5, with Category 5 being the highest level of intensity. However, we decided to go beyond that by creating a new level called Category 10.
"It's going to be a fantastic country-style bar. It will be located in downtown Nashville and will offer a variety of food and drinks. We will have everything you could possibly want. It's going to be incredibly enjoyable," he excitedly expressed. "I am eagerly looking forward to the opening of this establishment and can't wait to see all of you there."
Although he didn't include it in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 also reminds us of Combs' first single, "Hurricane," which draws a comparison between the impact of unexpectedly encountering an ex-lover and the devastation caused by a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" became Combs' first song to reach the top of the charts, marking the beginning of a remarkable streak. Since then, all 17 of his official radio singles have achieved the coveted No. 1 spot on the country charts, an impressive ongoing accomplishment.
In April 2023, Combs revealed information about his bar in Nashville. He is one of a number of famous artists who have invested in popular establishments downtown. Combs' bar, Category 10, now joins the likes of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and many more.
