Loretta Lynn's son, Ernest, recently received positive news regarding his recovery after a critical surgery to address his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update stating that he has begun experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expressed on Facebook that she is unable to provide any reasonable explanation for the sudden positive change in their situation, other than attributing it to a higher power, possibly God. She highlighted the stark contrast between their previous unsuccessful attempts at dialysis spanning over three weeks and the subsequent day where they achieved success. Similarly, Crystal pointed out how they were previously confronted with more severe circumstances, but suddenly found themselves in a better situation the following day. She also mentioned the uncertainty they once had about the future, but now feel optimistic and assured that it holds promising outcomes.
According to her, God is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and He has indeed accomplished it! Additionally, Crystal posted a picture of Ernest recovering in a medical facility, seated on a chair and connected to machines, appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers, as they are concerned about her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant contribution of prayer towards Ernest's improvement in health.

Loretta Lynn has experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her oldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a prominent figure in country music, earning her the title of the most celebrated female country performer in history.
