Luke Combs has made progress towards the opening of his bar in downtown Nashville. He recently disclosed the name of the bar, which is Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his immense enthusiasm for an upcoming event. Filmed backstage at the renowned Grand Ole Opry, Combs, who is a recognized member of the Opry, shares his excitement. Additionally, he reveals that he will be collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to open a new bar.
As you are probably aware, hurricanes have a maximum strength of Category 5. However, we decided to push the limits and create a new category called Category 10, which would be twice as powerful.
"It's going to be an incredible country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of delicious food and drinks. We will cater to all your preferences and desires. It promises to be a fantastic experience," he expressed with enthusiasm. "I'm eagerly anticipating the opening of this establishment and I'm excited to see all of you there."
Although he didn't explicitly state it in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 reminds us of Combs' first single, "Hurricane." This song draws a parallel between the emotional impact of unexpectedly encountering an ex and the destructive force of a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" became Combs' first song to reach the top of the charts. This marked the beginning of a remarkable achievement for Combs, as all 17 of his officially released radio singles have since reached the number one position on the country charts.
In April 2023, Combs revealed information about his bar in Nashville. He is among a group of famous singers who have added their names to popular downtown establishments. Category 10 is the latest addition to this list, which already includes Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and numerous others.
