Luke Combs has made progress towards opening his bar in downtown Nashville. He recently unveiled the name of the bar, which will be called Category 10.
The singer expresses his enthusiasm in a video posted on his social media, filmed backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. Combs is an official member of the Opry and is also collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his own bar.
As most of you are aware, hurricanes are classified on a scale that goes up to Category 5, indicating their maximum strength. However, we decided to go beyond that and create a new classification called Category 10, which would represent an even more powerful hurricane
"It's going to be an amazing country-style bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of delicious food and drinks. We will have everything you desire. It's going to be an incredibly enjoyable experience," he enthusiastically expressed. "I am eagerly looking forward to the grand opening and seeing all of you there."
Although he didn't mention it in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 also reminds us of Combs' first single, "Hurricane," which draws a comparison between the unexpected encounter with an ex and the destructive impact of a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" became Combs' first number one hit and marked the beginning of his impressive streak of consecutive chart-topping songs. To date, all of Combs' 17 official radio singles have reached the pinnacle of the country charts.
In April 2023, Combs revealed information about his bar in Nashville. He is among a group of famous musicians who have attached their names to popular venues in the downtown area. By opening Category 10, he joins the likes of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and numerous other artists.
