Chris Young confidently responded to his critics after the charges against him were dropped following his arrest last Monday.
Using social media, the singer shared a surveillance video along with a message addressing those who criticized him for allegedly touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk announced that he had completed his examination of the evidence, resulting in the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged their involvement in urging Young to keep his distance when he attempted to intervene in their license check.
A video, which Taste of Country has obtained, depicts Young attempting to halt an agent without displaying much aggression. From one angle, it is uncertain whether he even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. He has recently addressed the incident for the first time in a video uploaded on his TikTok account.
The person who wrote this message is addressing the trolls who are telling him not to touch a police officer. He clarifies that he did not touch the officer.
Now that all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He can now focus on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
