Luke Combs has taken a significant step towards the opening of his upcoming bar in downtown Nashville. During the evening of January 29th, he disclosed the name of the establishment, which will be known as Category 10.
The singer expresses his enthusiasm in a video message shared on his social media platform. He filmed the message backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. Combs is a recognized member of the Opry and is further collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to open his own bar.
As you are probably aware, hurricanes are classified on a scale called the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, which ranges from Category 1 to Category 5. However, we decided to go beyond the highest category and introduced a hypothetical Category 10
"It's going to be a fantastic country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of food and drinks. You can have anything you desire, as we aim to provide a wide selection. It will be a highly enjoyable experience," he expressed with excitement. "I am eagerly anticipating the opening of this establishment. I can't wait to see all of you there."
Although he didn't mention it in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 also reminds us of Combs' first single, "Hurricane." This song, released in 2016, drew a comparison between unexpectedly encountering an ex and the destructive force of a natural disaster. "Hurricane" not only became Combs' first chart-topping hit but also marked the beginning of his remarkable streak of No. 1 hits. To this day, all 17 of his official radio singles have reached the top position on the country charts.
In April 2023, Combs revealed information about his bar in Nashville. He is among a group of popular celebrities who have attached their names to a trendy establishment in the downtown area. With the opening of Category 10, Combs joins the likes of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and numerous other artists who have done the same.
The following article highlights the top 20 songs by Luke Combs that demonstrate his ability to prove his critics wrong. These songs have been selected based on their popularity and impact. Stay tuned
