Chris Young had a confident response to the critics who had been harassing him, as all the charges against him were dropped after his arrest last Monday.
The vocalist utilized social media to share a surveillance video and deliver a message to individuals who implied that he was at fault for physically engaging with a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged that they had encouraged Young to keep his distance after he attempted to intervene in their license check.
Taste of Country has obtained a video that shows Young's behavior as he attempts to restrain an agent without displaying much aggression. From one perspective, it is unclear whether he even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. He recently uploaded a video on TikTok where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
To address those who are criticizing me and advising against any physical contact with a police officer, I want to clarify that I did not make any physical contact with him.
After having all charges dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He is expected to resume promoting his upcoming album titled Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
