Luke Combs has recently unveiled the name of his upcoming bar in downtown Nashville, bringing him closer to its grand opening. The name of the establishment, which he shared on Monday night, is Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his tremendous enthusiasm for an upcoming event. The video was recorded backstage at the renowned Grand Ole Opry, where the singer is a recognized member. Additionally, he has collaborated with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his new bar.
Clearly, as you all are aware, the highest intensity a hurricane can reach is Category 5. Hence, we decided to amplify it by twice its strength and designate it as Category 10.
"It's going to be an incredible country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, we'll have a wide variety of food and drinks available. Whatever you desire, we will make sure to provide it. This place is going to be a blast," he expressed with excitement. "I am eagerly anticipating the opening of this establishment. I can't wait to see all of you there."
Although he didn't specifically mention it in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 also reminds us of Combs' first single called "Hurricane." This song, released in 2016, talks about the impact of unexpectedly encountering an ex, comparing it to the devastation caused by a natural disaster. "Hurricane" not only became Combs' first chart-topping hit but also marked the beginning of his outstanding achievement of continuously reaching number one on the country charts. To this day, all 17 of his official radio singles have achieved the top position on the charts.
