Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, known as 'trolls', after the charges against him were dropped following his arrest last Monday.
The vocalist used social media to share video footage from a surveillance camera, along with a message aimed at those who implied that he was at fault for touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence, resulting in the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged their role in encouraging Young to keep his distance when he attempted to intervene in their license check process.
Taste of Country has obtained a video that depicts Young's non-aggressive behavior while attempting to prevent an agent from doing something. From one perspective, it is uncertain if Young even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not physically harm anyone. He recently posted a video on his TikTok account where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
In response to those who are trolling and advising against engaging with a police officer, the individual clarifies that they did not physically touch the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He can now focus on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
