Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent surgery in order to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been effective. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started to experience significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she is unable to provide any explanation for the recent positive changes in her situation, other than attributing them to a higher power, God. She highlights the contrast between the difficulties faced in the past, such as unsuccessful dialysis sessions and serious circumstances, and the sudden improvements experienced the following day. Crystal further mentions how uncertainty about the future has transformed into a confident belief that the future holds promising prospects.
She expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to do, and she affirms that HE has indeed accomplished it! Crystal also uploaded a picture of Ernest recovering, seated in what seems to be a medical facility, connected to machines but otherwise at ease.
During Ernest's health struggle, Crystal has reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improved health.

Their oldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, and their oldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away at the age of 90 on October 4, 2022, in her residence located in Hurricane Mills. Throughout her life, she achieved immense success in the field of country music, earning the title of the most decorated female country performer ever.
