Chris Young had a triumphant response to his critics, known as 'trolls', after he was found innocent of all accusations following his arrest on Monday.
The vocalist utilized social media to share a surveillance video and address those individuals who believed he was at fault for touching a law enforcement agent.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, announced that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to drop the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged their involvement in pressuring Young to step back after he attempted to interfere with their license check.
A video, which was obtained by Taste of Country, depicts Young displaying minimal aggression while attempting to prevent an agent. From one perspective, it is uncertain whether he made any physical contact with the individual.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. He recently uploaded a video on his TikTok account where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
"I didn't physically make contact with the police officer," he states in response to those who criticize him by saying, "Do not make physical contact with a cop."
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He can now focus on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
