Luke Combs has made progress towards the opening of his new bar in downtown Nashville. He recently revealed the name of the bar, which will be called Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his overwhelming enthusiasm. The video was recorded backstage at the renowned Grand Ole Opry. Combs, who is now a recognized member of the Opry, is also collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his new bar.
As most of you are aware, hurricanes have a maximum strength of Category 5. However, we decided to go beyond that and create a new category, Category 10.
"It's going to be an incredible country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of food and drinks. Whatever you're looking for, we will have it. It's going to be a great time," he expressed. "I'm really excited for the grand opening. I can't wait to see all of you there."
Although not mentioned in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 reminds us of Combs' first single, "Hurricane." This song, released in 2016, drew a comparison between encountering an ex unexpectedly and the destructive impact of a natural disaster. "Hurricane" not only became Combs' first chart-topping hit but also marked the beginning of his remarkable streak of No. 1 hits. To date, all 17 of his official radio singles have reached the top spot on the country charts.
In April 2023, Combs provided information about his bar in Nashville. He is among a group of famous musicians who have their names associated with popular venues in the downtown area. The addition of Category 10 adds Combs to the list of artists such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and many more.
Here are the top 20 songs by Luke Combs that showcase his ability to prove skeptics wrong. These songs have gained popularity and recognition in the country music community.
