Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, his wife Crystal has provided an update stating that Ernest has started experiencing significant improvements in his health as of Monday, January 29th.
Crystal expressed on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the sudden positive changes in their situation other than attributing it to a higher power, namely God. One day, they were struggling to achieve successful dialysis for a period of three weeks, but the following day, they were able to accomplish it. They also experienced a shift from facing potentially severe circumstances to a more hopeful outlook. Initially uncertain about what lies ahead, they now have a strong belief that their future holds promising prospects.
She exclaimed that GOD is capable of achieving things that we are unable to accomplish, and HE has indeed accomplished them! Crystal further shared a picture of Ernest recovering in a medical facility, where he is seen sitting in a chair, connected to various machines, but otherwise appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's positive progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude by acknowledging that none of the accomplishments would have been possible without the belief and trust of the people, the divine presence of God, and the prayers and support received. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, showing care by dedicating time to pray for them, and being a valuable member of God's followers. Their appreciation knows no bounds.
Additionally, she points out that Ernest is able to return to his own residence in order to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has experienced the tragic loss of two of her children who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while her oldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
On October 4, 2022, Lynn passed away at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved immense success as a country music artist and held the record for being the most honored female country performer in history.
