Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. There were initial concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reasoning for the events that have occurred, except for attributing them to a higher power, God. She highlights how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a period of three weeks, but the very next day they were able to. Similarly, Crystal mentions that they were confronted with more severe circumstances on one day, only for them to be resolved the following day. She also observes that one moment they were uncertain about what the future held, but suddenly they gained a strong belief that the future would be positive and promising.
She continues to express that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and in this case, HE has indeed achieved it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in a medical facility, sitting on a chair and connected to various machines, but otherwise appearing to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's difficult medical situation, Crystal has reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improving health.

In addition, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return to his own house for recovery once he is discharged from the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the Lynn family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as an artist in the country music genre, earning the title of the most decorated female country performer in history.
