Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, received positive news regarding his recovery after undergoing a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been effective. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update revealing that he has begun experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the events that have occurred, except for the involvement of a higher power, specifically mentioning God. She highlights the sudden change in their situation where they were unable to achieve successful dialysis for a period of three weeks, but the following day they were able to. Similarly, she mentions how they were facing more severe circumstances on one day, but the next day those circumstances seemed to have improved. Crystal also remarks on the uncertainty they had about the future previously, but now they have a strong belief that the future holds promising outcomes.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we, as humans, are unable to achieve, and she affirms that HE has indeed accomplished it. Furthermore, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest in the process of recovering, seated in what seems to be a medical facility. Although he is connected to various machines, he appears to be resting comfortably.
During the time that Ernest was going through his medical difficulties, Crystal reached out to his fans and asked for their support and prayers in hopes of aiding his recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improvements in health.

Loretta Lynn's late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn, had two children with her who unfortunately passed away before her. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who died in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their eldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away at the age of 90 on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as a country music artist, earning numerous accolades and establishing herself as the highest-recognized female country performer in history.
