Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the surgery. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared some positive news about his recovery, stating that he has started experiencing significant health improvements.
Crystal expressed on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the positive turn of events other than attributing it to a higher power, which she refers to as GOD. She highlights the sudden improvement in the dialysis procedure, as one day it was unsuccessful for a period of three weeks, but the next day it became successful. She also mentions how the severity of the situation seemed to diminish overnight, as well as the uncertainty about the future turning into a belief that it holds promising prospects.
Crystal expressed her belief that GOD is capable of accomplishing things beyond our capabilities, and she claims that HE has already done so. She further shared a picture of Ernest in a medical facility, where he is seen sitting in a chair, connected to various machines, but seemingly at ease and recovering.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improvements in health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of this would have been achievable without the faith, prayers, and support from the readers. She thanks everyone for being a part of their support network and for showing care by dedicating time to pray for them. She also appreciates everyone for being a part of God's army and conveys their eternal gratefulness.
In addition, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return home and recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn lived longer than two of her children, who she had with her deceased husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first child is their daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second child is their son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned while trying to cross a river on the family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee in 1984.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a prominent figure in country music and held the record for being the female country performer with the most awards.
