Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, there is now some encouraging news as Ernest's health has shown significant improvements as reported by his wife, Crystal.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any other explanation for the positive changes in their situation other than attributing it to God. She mentions how one day they were unable to undergo a successful dialysis session for a total of three weeks, but suddenly the next day they were able to. Similarly, they highlight how one day they were facing more severe circumstances, but the following day the situation improved. Crystal also mentions that they were uncertain about what the future held, but now they have a sense of optimism and believe that the future looks promising.
She continues to state that GOD is capable of achieving things that we are unable to accomplish, and indeed, HE has accomplished it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair in a healthcare facility. He is connected to machines but appears to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's challenging medical situation, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improved health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith of others, the support of their almighty God, and the prayers they received. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, showing appreciation for their care and dedication in taking the time to pray for them. She also acknowledges everyone as part of God's army and expresses their eternal gratitude.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest is fortunate enough to be able to return home for his recovery after being discharged from the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has lived longer than two of her children that she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first one is their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second one is their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a country music artist and held the record for the highest number of awards received by a female country performer.
