However, recent updates from his wife Crystal indicate that Ernest has started to experience significant improvements in his health, bringing hope for his recovery.
Crystal, in a Facebook post, expresses her lack of explanation for the positive turn of events, attributing it solely to God. She highlights the sudden change in the success of the dialysis procedure, going from unsuccessful for three weeks to successful. Additionally, she mentions how the seriousness of their circumstances fluctuates, with one day being more dire and the next day not. Crystal also notes the uncertainty about the future being replaced by confidence in a bright future.
Crystal expresses that God has the ability to accomplish things that we are unable to do, and she affirms that He has indeed done it. Additionally, Crystal shares a photograph of Ernest recovering in a medical facility, where he is sitting in a chair and connected to machines, but appears to be at ease.
During Ernest's difficult medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improving health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their accomplishments would have been possible without the support and belief of the readers, the divine power of God, and the prayers and assistance received. Loretta Lynn has experienced the unfortunate loss of two of her children that she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her eldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as one of the leading artists in the country music genre, earning the title of the most decorated female country performer in history.
