Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the procedure's success. However, his wife Crystal shared an update on Monday (Jan. 29) stating that Ernest's health has shown significant improvement.
Crystal took to Facebook to express her lack of understanding for the positive turn of events. She attributes it solely to the intervention of a higher power, God. She highlights the drastic change from a failed dialysis treatment spanning over three weeks to a successful one the next day. Additionally, she mentions the shift from facing grave circumstances to a sudden improvement in the situation. Crystal emphasizes the uncertainty about the future at one point, but then expresses newfound optimism and belief in a promising future.
She continues by stating that GOD can accomplish things that we are unable to do, and he has indeed accomplished it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a healthcare facility. Ernest is connected to machines but otherwise appears to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improved health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of the accomplishments would have been possible without the belief and trust from her supporters, the divine presence of God, and their continuous prayers and support. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their network of support, appreciating their dedication in taking the time to pray for them. She also recognizes and thanks all those who have joined the collective effort in serving God. Their gratitude knows no bounds.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return home in order to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has survived two of her children that she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. These children include their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, and their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as one of the most accomplished artists in the country music genre. Lynn held the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards received.
