Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, on Monday (January 29th), Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal took to Facebook to express her astonishment and lack of understanding regarding a recent turn of events. She is unable to provide any logical explanation for the sudden positive outcome, except to attribute it to a higher power, God. Crystal highlights the stark contrast between two consecutive days – on one day, their attempts at dialysis were unsuccessful for a period of three weeks, but miraculously, the very next day they achieved success. Similarly, they were confronted with grave circumstances on one day, only to find themselves relieved of those worries the following day. Crystal also mentions the uncertainty they experienced about the future at one point, but now they have gained confidence and optimism, believing that brighter days lie ahead.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we humans cannot, and she affirms that GOD has indeed achieved it. Additionally, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest in recovery, sitting in a chair at a medical facility. He is connected to medical equipment, but he seems to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers regarding her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude and acknowledges that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith of others, the mighty presence of God, and the continuous prayers and support received. She thanks everyone for being a part of their support system and for taking the time to pray for them. She also expresses gratitude for being part of God's army and states that they are forever thankful.
She also mentions that Ernest is allowed to return home for his recovery after being in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, who she had with her husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their family property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away at the age of 90 on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a country music artist and holds the record for being the most honored female country performer.
