Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, his wife Crystal has provided an update stating that Ernest has started to experience significant improvements in his health as of Monday, January 29th.
Crystal expresses her inability to provide an explanation for the situation she is referring to on Facebook, attributing it solely to a divine entity. She highlights the stark contrast between two consecutive days, where on one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis for a period of three weeks, and on the following day, they were able to do so. She further emphasizes the fluctuation in the severity of their circumstances, where one day they were confronted with more serious challenges, and the next day, those challenges seemed to have subsided. Crystal also acknowledges the uncertainty they experienced regarding the future on one day, only to gain a newfound confidence that the future holds promising prospects on the very next day.
She continues by saying that GOD has the ability to accomplish things that we cannot, and indeed, HE has achieved it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a medical facility, connected to various machines but otherwise resting peacefully.
During the time Ernest was going through his medical challenges, Crystal reached out to fans for their support and prayers regarding her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improved health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith of others, the support of their almighty God, and the prayers received. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system and emphasizes their appreciation for those who have taken the time to pray for them. She concludes by expressing gratitude to everyone for being a part of God's army and declares their eternal gratefulness.
In addition, she mentions that Ernest is able to return home to recover following his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while her oldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as a country music artist and holds the record for being the most-awarded female country performer in history.
