Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently had a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery might not have been successful. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
On Facebook, Crystal expresses her inability to provide any reasons for the situation she is describing, except for attributing it to a higher power, God. She shares how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis process for a total of three weeks, but the following day they were able to. She also mentions how they were confronted with more severe circumstances one day, but the next day those circumstances seemed less serious. Crystal also highlights how uncertainty about the future was replaced with confidence in a bright future.
Crystal expresses that GOD has the ability to accomplish things that we are unable to do, and she affirms that HE has already done it. She further shares a picture of Ernest, who seems to be recovering in a medical facility, sitting on a chair and connected to various machines, but otherwise appears to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's difficult medical situation, Crystal has asked for the support and prayers of fans who are worried about her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improvements in health.

Loretta Lynn survived the deaths of two of her children, Betty Sue and Jack Benny, who were born to her and her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success in the field of country music and held the title of the most decorated female country artist in history.
