After undergoing surgery to treat his kidney failure, there were initial concerns about the success of Loretta Lynn's son Ernest's procedure. However, there is now some positive news regarding his recovery. Ernest's wife Crystal has provided an update stating that as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expressed on Facebook that she is unable to provide any explanation for the situation she is going through, except for the intervention of a higher power, which she refers to as GOD. She points out that one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a total of three weeks, but suddenly the following day they were able to do so. Similarly, one day they were confronted with more severe circumstances, but the next day those circumstances seemed to have improved. Initially, they were uncertain about what the future would bring, but now they have a sense of optimism and assurance that the future holds promising outcomes.
She expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to do, and she states that HE has indeed done it! Crystal also uploaded a picture of Ernest recovering in a chair at a medical facility, connected to various machines but otherwise resting peacefully.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans, seeking their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
The writer expresses gratitude and acknowledges that none of their accomplishments would have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of others, as well as the guidance of their almighty God. They extend their thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, for taking the time to pray for them, and for being a part of what they believe is God's army. They express eternal gratitude for all of these contributions.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return to his residence in order to recuperate following his time at the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has lived longer than two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while her eldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music. Additionally, she holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards.
