Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently had a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal shares on her Facebook post that she cannot find any logical explanation for the sudden positive turn of events, except for attributing it to God. She mentions how one day they were struggling to have a successful dialysis treatment for three weeks, but the following day they were able to achieve it. Similarly, one day they were confronted with serious circumstances, but the next day those circumstances seemed less severe. She also highlights how one day they were unsure about what lies ahead in the future, but the very next day they felt optimistic and certain that the future holds brightness.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and she affirms that HE has indeed accomplished it. She also includes a picture of Ernest, who seems to be recovering in a medical facility, sitting in a chair and connected to various machines, but otherwise in a comfortable resting state.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans, asking for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improved health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith of the readers, the presence of their powerful deity, and the prayers and support they received. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, caring enough to dedicate their time to pray for them. Lastly, she expresses deep appreciation to all who have joined the ranks of God's army, emphasizing that they will be eternally grateful for their contribution.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest is allowed to return to his own residence in order to recover after his time at the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the Lynn family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music. Additionally, she holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards.
