Loretta Lynn's son, Ernest, recently had a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns regarding the success of the procedure. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses her belief on Facebook that the only reason for the unexplained positive changes in their situation is divine intervention. She highlights the inconsistency they have experienced, where one day they are unable to undergo a successful dialysis treatment for three weeks, but the next day they are able to. Similarly, she mentions how they have faced serious circumstances on one day, but the next day they are not. Crystal also remarks on the uncertainty they previously had about the future, which has now transformed into confidence and hope for a bright future.
Crystal expressed her belief in the ability of GOD to accomplish things that we as humans cannot. She further mentioned that GOD has already achieved what we could not. Along with her statement, Crystal posted a picture of Ernest recovering in a medical facility. In the photo, Ernest is seen sitting on a chair and connected to machines, suggesting that he is receiving medical care, but he seems to be resting comfortably
During the time when Ernest was going through his medical difficulties, Crystal reached out to fans to ask for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes how prayer has played a significant role in Ernest's improvement in health.

Loretta Lynn's late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn, had two children with her who tragically passed away before her. The first was their oldest daughter, Betty Sue, who died in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son, Jack Benny, who drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their family property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved immense success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music. Lynn holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards received.
