After undergoing surgery to treat his kidney failure, there were initial concerns about the success of Loretta Lynn's son Ernest's procedure. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started to experience significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot provide any logical explanation for the positive turn of events other than attributing it to a higher power, God. She highlights the sudden change in her situation, where one day she and her loved ones were unable to achieve successful dialysis for a period of three weeks, but the following day, they were able to do so. Additionally, she mentions how one moment they were confronted with more severe circumstances, only for them to be alleviated the next day. Crystal also emphasizes the fluctuation in their uncertainty about the future, as one day they lacked clarity about what lay ahead, but the very next day, they possessed a strong belief that the future holds promising outcomes.
She continues by expressing that GOD is capable of accomplishing what we, humans, cannot achieve, and indeed, GOD has accomplished it! Crystal additionally posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a healthcare center, connected to medical equipment but otherwise peacefully resting.
During the time when Ernest was facing his medical difficulties, Crystal reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improvement in health.

Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, who were born to her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their family property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved immense success as a country music artist and holds the record for being the most decorated female country performer in history.
