Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, received some promising updates regarding his recovery after undergoing a life-saving surgery for his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery might not have been successful. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared that he has started experiencing notable improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses her inability to provide a logical explanation for the events she is experiencing, attributing them to a higher power, GOD. She highlights the stark contrast between days when dialysis is not successful, and days when it suddenly becomes successful. Similarly, she mentions the fluctuation between facing serious circumstances and not. Crystal also mentions the uncertainty about the future on some days, but on others, she feels confident that the future holds promise and positivity.
Crystal expresses her belief that God is capable of accomplishing things that we as humans are unable to do, and she states that He has indeed done so. Additionally, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest, who is shown recovering in what seems to be a medical facility, sitting in a chair and connected to various machines, but overall appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improvements in health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the belief and trust of others, the presence of their powerful deity, and the prayers and support received. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, emphasizing their care and dedication to pray for them. She concludes by expressing their eternal gratitude for being a part of what they consider to be God's army.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest is able to return to his own residence in order to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has survived two of her children that she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first one is their oldest daughter named Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second child is their oldest son named Jack Benny, who tragically died in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their Hurricane Mills, Tennessee property and drowned.
Lynn passed away at the age of 90 in her residence in Hurricane Mills on October 4, 2022. Throughout her life, she achieved immense success as a prominent figure in country music and holds the record for being the female country artist with the highest number of awards.
