Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were doubts about the success of the procedure. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any explanation for the situation other than attributing it to a higher power, God. She mentions how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a total of three weeks, but the following day they were able to. Similarly, one day they were facing more severe circumstances, but the next day the situation seemed less serious. Crystal also highlights the contrast between feeling uncertain about the future on one day and then suddenly having confidence that the future holds promise on the next day.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we, as humans, are unable to do, and she affirms that HE has indeed accomplished it. Additionally, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest in a medical facility, where he is seen sitting in a chair and connected to machines, but overall appearing to be in a comfortable resting state.
During Ernest's medical difficulties, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's healing. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
The author expresses their gratitude and acknowledges that their achievements would not have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of others. They sincerely thank everyone who has been a part of their support system, those who have taken the time to pray for them, and those who have been part of God's army. They express their eternal gratefulness for the contributions of others.

Loretta Lynn has experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while her eldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
On October 4, 2022, Lynn passed away at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a prominent figure in the country music industry and held the record for being the most decorated female country artist ever.
