Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and it seems like she won't be taking a break anytime soon as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous bookings for 2024, and one exciting opportunity is her appearance in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
As reported by Billboard, Wilson has been cast in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the relaunch of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology, allowing fans to have an enhanced experience.
In Wilson's advertisement with a winter theme, she will be shown during a photo shoot when suddenly the "Chill Train" rushes past her. The scene will be cold, with strong gusts of snow, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photoshoot where I used my reliable old guitar and was provided with a horse by Coors Light. The photoshoot included interesting makeup effects that made it look like frost, and we also had fake snow applied to my hair and eyelashes," recalls the country singer. "I had the opportunity to try something new and be creative in unique ways, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is in a romantic relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has made plans to personally attend the Super Bowl this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the exciting game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
When questioned, Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled for the halftime show.
"I'm thrilled to be attending the Super Bowl and to see Usher perform. This is only my second time going to the Super Bowl, so it's a special opportunity that I couldn't pass up. It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I'm fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic party."
While Wilson did not explicitly express her full support for any particular team, it appears that she is optimistic and wants the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to win again.
Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs football team. They attended one of Wilson's shows last summer, and according to Wilson, they are genuinely wonderful individuals. Due to this positive experience, if Wilson had to choose someone to support, it would likely be them.
Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also because of his romantic relationship with the famous pop star, Taylor Swift.
Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she doesn't have any touring commitments. Fans are excited and hoping to catch a glimpse of her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11th. Prior to the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour will resume with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, there is a chance that she might make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the game because of the time difference.
Taylor Swift shows her affection for Travis Kelce with a kiss following his team's significant victory in the AFC Championship. For more updates, stay tuned to Taste of Country.
