Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous appearances for 2024, and one exciting opportunity includes featuring in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the ad includes a virtual seat booking feature using CGI, which allows fans to have an enhanced experience.
In Wilson's advertisement with a winter theme, she will be seen in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" rushes past her. The scene will be cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable guitar and a horse that was provided to me by Coors Light. It was an exciting experience as we incorporated some unique makeup effects that resembled frost, and we even had artificial snow applied to my hair and eyelashes," recalls the popular country artist. "I had the opportunity to try something new and explore my creativity in various ways, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to personally attend the Super Bowl this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the highly anticipated match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is excited to watch the game, she is equally excited for the halftime show.
"I am thrilled to be able to attend the Super Bowl and see Usher perform. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so it is a special occasion for me. Whenever you receive an invitation to go to the Super Bowl, you simply cannot pass it up. It is a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime. I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists, making it even more exciting. It is going to be a fantastic celebration."
Although she didn't explicitly express her strong support for a specific team, Wilson appears to be desiring a consecutive victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the current champions of the Super Bowl.
Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, and Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. He shares that they attended one of his shows last summer and expresses that they are genuinely wonderful individuals. As a result, if he had to choose someone to support, it would likely be them.
Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also because he is dating the famous pop star, Taylor Swift.
Swift has been present at Chiefs games throughout the year whenever she is not busy with her touring schedule.
